Patented Ion Controller and Sensor Group:

IAQ-cpr has designed and patented the only indoor air quality (IAQ) controller that regulates the number of ions that are released by Needle Point Bi-Polar Ionization (NBPI), Bi-Polar Ionization (BPI) or Cold Plasma Generation (CPG) systems.  Our patented controller modulates the amount of negative and positive ions that are generated and allows the negative and positive ions to be ramped up or down, or will even turn the system off if necessary. An ideal ratio of negative to positive ions is approximately 2:1 and the patented IAQ-cpr controller allows for precise modulation of the negative to positive ionization ratios.  IAQ-cpr’s built in sensing group continually monitors, negative and positive ionization creation (through our built in dual ion counters) and automatically adjusts and regulates the ratios based upon temperature, water grains and airflow. This allows for managed ionization generation that is repeatable 24 hours per day. With IAQ-cpr’s controlled ionization our customers can recreate the same ionization makeup that mirrors the air of a mountain stream or the outside air after a spring rain.

Patented Separate Negative and Positive Ion Generators:

IAQ-cpr also has the only patented separate negative and positive ion generators available in the marketplace. Each ion generator can be switched to either a variable or fixed output and can be optimally positioned within the customer’s facility to assist in balancing the ionization ratios as well as to maximize effectiveness. Our patents and products allow IAQ-cpr to be uniquely positioned in the marketplace to handle the positive known health benefits of ionization and also produce ions in quantities and ratios that match the space and eliminate known side effects from improper production of ions.

What’s Different About The IAQ-cpr Product:

Ionization systems have been installed in schools, colleges, hotels and businesses. None of these existing systems, other than IAQ-cpr, allow for control of the number of positive and negative ions that are created.  An ideal ratio of negative to positive ions is approximately 2:1. The issue is that negative ions have an effective lifespan of approximately one minute while a positive ion has an effective lifespan of approximately 15 minutes.

Without controlled modulation, current ionization products produce an inordinate number of positive ions versus negative ions (15:1 positive versus negative ions in the space). This imbalance can lead to the creation of large amounts of hydrogen peroxide H2O2, and an overproduction of hydroxyl radicals which can have adverse effects on the facility’s occupants such as respiratory problems, inhibited histamine response and increased oxidative stress levels.

IAQ-cpr’s patented controller modulates the amount of negative and positive ions that are generated and allows the negative and positive ions to be ramped up or down, or will even turn the system off if necessary. The controller can also be connected to the facility’s Building Management System (BMS) so the operation can be programmed into the ongoing operations of the building.

How Does Ionization Work:

Ionization solutions have mushroomed in popularity since the onset of COVID-19.  Ionization technology deactivates pathogens such as the coronavirus, influenza, and colds by rendering them inactive by disrupting the pathogen’s surface proteins. The technology eliminates their ability to replicate. The technology also causes the pathogenic and dust particles to bundle together (agglomerate) into much larger particulates where they can be caught in the HVAC system’s filter or fall harmlessly to the ground.  Note, that the COVID-19 virus is .01 micron in size, so without this agglomeration the virus will easily pass through the ventilation system’s filters.

Before the current pandemic, ionization had become very popular in eliminating the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that create odors. IAQ-cpr’s ion generation breaks these odors into harmless organic compounds, leaving the air smelling fresh and clean. With IAQ-cpr’s controlled ionization our customers can recreate the same ionization makeup that mirrors the air of a mountain stream or the outside air after a spring rain. Without the IAQ-cpr modulation regulator, controlled replication is impossible.

In summary, IAQ-cpr has the only patented solution that will fix the issue of controlling the unregulated ion generation. There is no Federal oversight organization that oversees ionization safety and the facility industry’s compliance organization. Ionization technology is the hottest trend for indoor air quality in schools, hotels, and corporations across the world.  Thousands of new installations are going in weekly during the pandemic. Current ionization solutions are simply an on/off solution with no control over the ionization being produced.  IAQ-cpr finally gives the customer precise control of their indoor air quality.
